Job Description

**Major Duties (Job Description)**


* You will oversee government technical specialists, engineers and scientists supporting various projects in the Division.
* You will plan, assign, and direct tasks; set performance expectations and evaluate employee contributions; approve leave; recommend discipline, awards, and promotions; provide training and technical and career guidance etc.
* You will plan, acquire, manage and allocate resources to oversee and support a wide range of associated management and planning activities on one or more complex projects throughout the entire life cycle.
* You will engage in process improvement initiatives, conduct audits of projects to ensure the application of software quality engineering best practices, and cyber security policies in the development to C2 information systems and services.
* You will advise, administer, or perform professional engineering work to include but not limited to design, development, analysis of computer hardware, systems, software and computer architecture, system integration, electronic engineering etc.
* You will advise, administer, or perform consulting, supervise, or perform research or other professional and scientific work in the investigation and application of the relations between a wide variety of health, physical, and geophysical.
* You will administer, or perform professional scientific work of a mathematical, statistical, or actuarial nature.
* You will advise, administer, plan, monitor/oversee, perform scientific inquires and analysis, and research of systems or system components across the entire acquisition life cycle.
* You will administer or perform professional and scientific work such as the application of, or research into computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information by means of computer systems.



**Qualification Summary**

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; demonstrating skills in Systems Engineering of C2 systems and/or applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures.
