Under the direction of the Head of IT Partner and Vendor Management, the individual in this role will have an opportunity to work alongside IT Operations Specialists and Procurement professionals dedicated to managing relationships with our external vendors, mitigating risks and ensuring the organization receives the best possible price and value for the services and applications purchased.
You Will Make an Impact By:
* Support the management of vendor contracts and agreements through the contract life cycle.
* Schedule and participate in monthly/quarterly Business Reviews with key vendors, tracking activities and outcomes.
* Shepherding new vendors through the onboarding process.
* Review vendor payment schedules - to ensure all invoices are current and paid in accordance with vendor agreements. Identify gaps in vendor invoice delivery and/or outstanding invoices.
* Assist in managing the vendor spend profile through analysis and tracking, keeping the organization in line with budget.
* Provide issue resolution support by assisting in root cause analysis, documenting remediation options including tradeoffs and helping communicate decisions.
* Provide proactive notifications for upcoming renewals (external resources, support and maintenance contracts, and licensing)
Skills You Bring:
* College senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology or business administration
* Experience in Vendor Management, IT Procurement, IT Project Management, project coordination, or related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with MS office suite, and ServiceNow
* Familiarity with the Contract Lifecycle Methodology
* Must be local to the Andover MA office and able to be in-office 2-3 times a week.
