The Integrated Development Office (IDO) seeks to hire several mid- to senior-level, NH-02/03/04 professionals at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. These positions will be part of the AFLCMC team, responsible for multi-functional activities within an assigned functional capability area to develop integrated solutions for the future design. Areas include Battlespace Awareness, C4/Cyber, Force Application, Force Protection, Force Development/Design, & Logistics.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:


* Serves on significant projects in the portfolio to deliver results with technically viable solutions meeting performance goals.
* Informally lead activities aligned with the portfolio in a team to ensure solutions are technically sound.
* Coordinates activities with other Portfolio team members to ensure consistency across the organization.
* Mentors junior team members to develop their skills for more advanced positions.
* Air Force Materiel Command Integrated Development Office (AFMC IDO) is a new organization, encompassing mission engineering, concept development, and planning for development. The IDO will work with the Systems Centers and AFRL to ensure continuous pipelines of competitive technology development, and with the Program Executive Officers (PEOs) to structure execution-ready Programs-of-Record for transition to, and management by, the PEOs and Program Offices within the AFMC Systems Centers.
* The IDO will be responsible for defining and overseeing early systems acquisition prototyping, experimentation, and mission engineering; executing enterprise-focused and integrated early systems engineering and systems acquisition; and applying the technical architectures developed and managed by the three Systems Centers.

**Required Qualifications**


* United States Citizenship
* Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade DR/DO-02/GS-13 for NH-04, DR/DO-01/GS-11 for NH-03, or DR/DO-01/GS-11 for NH-02 (or equivalent in other pay systems).
* Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance.
* The incumbent may be subject to random drug testing.
* A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of study.
* The Logistics field will consider a combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
* Some positions are acquisition positions and are covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The employee must meet, or be capable of meeting, Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
* Incumbent may be required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
* The incumbent of the position may be required to travel occasionally by military or commercial air in the performance of temporary duty (TDY) up to 25% of the fiscal year.



**Desired Qualifications**


* Experience leading cross discipline capability development research/development.
* Expertise in one or more of the following functional areas: Battlespace Awareness, C4/Cyber, Force Application, Force Protection, Force Development/Design, & Logistics.
* Experience distilling strategic and/or leadership guidance into actionable plans in support of program objectives.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead people, build consensus, and identify and resolve conflicts/problems with the workforce.
* Ability to motivate, develop, and grow cross-functional teams.

**Logistics** :


* Logistics Foundational Certification
* Experience with supportability Frontend analysis
* Knowledge of Sustainment and applications to capabilities development
* Ability to critically think and design sustainment strategies based on multiple capabilities
* Ability to work in a laboratory environment with experimentation and prototyping
